Yes. All the heaters contain earth wires and are CE approved. The heaters must be connected to a fully operational RCD circuit breaker for maximum safety.

2. Can I use an under floor heating system in my bathroom?
Yes you can. It is perfectly safe. However, you must remember the thermostat needs to be positioned outside the bathroom in accordance with building regulations.

3. What floor surfaces can I use it with?
Most floor surfaces except carpets. This includes wood, laminate, vinyl, ceramic tiles, natural stone (marble, terracotta, slate, limestone, flagstone, porcelain) and cork. However, always ensure the manufacturer has certified their products to work with underfloor heating.

4. What subfloors can I use floor heating with?
Both concrete and timber subfloors can be used. Always ensure the flooring is fully prepared correctly before the underfloor heating is installed.

5. Can I connect it to a plug?
No. British Standards regulations do not allow the heater to be connected to a plug.

6. What happens if it develops a fault?
NEOHEAT can pinpoint any breaks in the wire to within an inch of the problem. This allows us to lift the minimum amount of flooring required to fix the problem. The whole floor surface does NOT have to be lifted.

9. Can I use any thermostat with Neoheat electric underfloor heating?
No. The thermostat must be suitable for use with electric underfloor heating. NEOHEAT provide a thermostat that is fully compatible with electric underfloor heating which, via a floor probe, detects and limits the temperature at floor level. This is essential when using a flooring surface that has a maximum heat threshold.

10. Can I have one thermostat controlling all of my underfloor heating?
Yes you can. Always consult NEOHEAT or a certified electrician first.
