Gas Fires

Here at Brookfield we are qualified and equipped to install all different styles and makes of gas, electric fires. Whether they are decorative fuel effect to flueless catalytic units.

When a gas appliance is installed it must be done so by an a CORGI registered engineer.

Gas Fires

When changing a gas fire several things must be taken into account:

• Clearances - distance to the surrounding surfaces.
• Ventilation - some fires require additional ventilation to outside air.
• Chimney/flue - if you are changing a fire please remember the flue must be checked as it may not be suitable for the fire you choose - we can advise you accordingly.
• Gas supply - your gas pipework will be tested for leaks, and must be adequate and correctly installed for the appliance fitted.
• Testing, checking and servicing

All types for gas fire can be repaired and serviced. We are also competent to test the efficiency of the flue to check its safe operation.
